Very Strong Prices on Minnesota Farm Auction Today

Let's see, the Cubs won their first World Series in 108 years last night and today in central Minnesota, on November 3rd, it was sunny, no wind, and 65 degrees. Crazy world we're living in folks.

And wow, think that warm sunny weather helped induce some very strong bidding from buyers at that farm retirement auction today in Olivia, MN, a sale by my good friends at Henslin Auctions, Inc. ( Here are a few sale price highlights from today's sale:

2009 John Deere 9670 STS combine, 953 engine hours, 2WD: $145,000 (2nd highest auction sale price this year on 9670 STS combine)



2011 John Deere 9630 4WD, 1,742 hours: $167,500 (tied highest auction price in U.S. this year on 9630)



2010 John Deere 8245R, 2,158 hours: $119,00 (Compare to $114K price for 2010 model 8245R w/ only 1,512 hours on 8/15/15 farm auction in south-central MN)



1988 John Deere 4850, 6,800 hours: $39,500 (Highest auction price this year on 4850 - 2nd highest auction price past 2 years)



Case IH 870 11-shank ripper: $47,500 (4th highest auction price on 870 past 35 mo.)



John Deere 856 24R-22 cultivator: $16,750 (Highest auction price on 856 in 15 years)



2009 John Deere 635 35' flex head, full finger: $20,000 (Tied highest auction price on 2009 model 635F without air reel the past 40 mo.)



1970 John Deere 4020 diesel, 4,368 hours, 158 loader: $18,500
