Smaller Self Propelled Sprayers Holding Value Well
September 02, 2016I was watching a farm auction in southeast Pennsylvania last Saturday (August 27, 2016).
My eyes were particularly trained on the 2014 Rogator 700 self propelled sprayer with only 590 hours on it. This 700 Gal. sprayer had a 90 foot boom. What would it sell for? Would it sell for a "stronger" auction sale price like other smaller capacity self propelled sprayers I've seen lately? Here's video of it selling on last Saturday's farm auction in southeast Pennsylvania, sale by my friends at Fraley AuctionCo:
So pretty strong sale price there at $130,000 I thought. Here is some more interesting data for you to show how smaller used Sprayers have been holding their value pretty well here the past year or so:
John Deere 4730 Sprayer Values
Calendar Year | Avg. Auction Sale Price |

2014 | $133,647 |
2013 | $157,286 |

* Values Up 15.7% so far in 2016 vs. 2015
