World Renowned IHC Collector Auction in Kansas Tomorrow and Saturday

September 29, 2016

I remember it like was yesterday.

My visit to Reserve, KS back in early April 2012. I went to visit a legend in the International Harvestor / Farmall collecting community, Mr. James Gall. James was 85 years young at the time. It was a bright, but chilly day. I went to film Youtube video features talking to James about his extensive (very) collection of all things red. What a fun day that was. I'm thinking back to that day today as I write this as the auction for the James Gall estate will be tomorrow (Sept. 30, 2016) and Saturday on his farm in Reserve, KS.

James Gall passed away January 29, 2016 at the age of 89. He was born the day before Thanksgiving Day in 1926. The Gall farm has been in the family since 1869. Here's the first Youtube video feature I posted of my visit with James Gall back in April of 2012. He tells me about his price Farmall F12 tractor, the oldest F12 known to exist:

James Gall was well known for his amazing collection of International Harvestor Plows. Here's the Youtube video feature I posted on this collection:

The James Gall estate auction again is tomorrow and Saturday in Reserve, KS. The sale is being conducted by Nixon Auctioneers. Here's a link to the sale bill:  http://nixonauctioneers.com/Gall.php

There will be live internet bidding on this auction. Here are a few pictures. You can find many, many more fun pictures on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/Jamesgallestatesale/?hc_ref=SEARCH&fref=nf
