Prices from Allis Chalmers Collector Auction Today
August 23, 20166:09 PM CST tonight. That's when the bidding ended on the very last tractor ever made by Allis Chalmers, the 1985 model 6070 pictured above. It had only 29 actual hours on it and sold today (August 22, 2016) on an online only auction for the Fanetti Estate in Menomonie, WI, sale by Hager Auction Service. So what did the very last tractor ever made by Allis Chalmers go for?
$46,000.
This was a sale full of wowzers. The 6070 was not even the highest seller on today's amazing Allis Chalmers collector auction, not by a long shot. The tractor that had been generating the most interest and bidder heat was the 1970 model 220 factory front-wheel assist (1 of around 100 ever made) with only 3,171 hours on it.
