A Record for a Rare Find
This 1985 IHC 7488 2 2 tractor with 4,492 hours, the 15th of only 16 made, sold for $105,000 at a Sept. 9, 2016, auction in southeast Pennsylvania. The previous record of $71,000 was at an October 2013 auction in North Dakota.

808 Engine Hours But As Good As New
The seat was still covered in plastic when Robert Petter traded in his 2014 John Deere S680 combine at Greenway Equipment in Stuttgart, Ark. Petter says they never even squashed a mosquito in the cab. The combine sold in one day.

Yard Art That Will Make You Look Twice
Trucker Les Y. from Henderson, Minn., sees a lot of interesting things on his travels and sent me this picture. The creator, Kyle Lieske, chimed in on the Facebook post and says he’s taking orders, any make or model, if anyone is interested.

A Mix of Old and New
Brothers Dodge and Marshall Williams of Charlotte, Mich., used their classic John Deere 6030 and 7020 tractors to pull their new Sunflower chisel plows. The Machinery Pete YouTube video of these tractors in action went viral fast.

Wheat Harvest Convoy
Facebook follower Eric M. sent me this picture of the 1958 wheat harvest in western Nebraska. Think the Department of Transportation would approve today? The post went viral with more than 600 shares and 1,600 likes in two days.
