1977 Steiger Edition Ford F250 Pickup

This morning I was editing some video footage for upcoming Season 4 of our Machinery Pete TV show from a farm sale we filmed out in Loma, MT a short while ago. See in the picture above the Steiger CM360 with 10,000 hours that was on this auction.

Any time I run across older model Steiger tractors now I have to smile and think about something Steiger related I stumbled up a few years ago...the "Steiger Edition" Ford F250 pickup trucks. Yep, it's true. Here's a pic:

Gotta love that '70's fashion! White shoes. Bellbottom pants. Light tan polyester suit. Sweet. Napoleon Dynamite would highly approve I think. And of course that truck...Awesomely cool.

Apparently only around 50 or so of these "Limited Edition" Steiger Ford F250 pickups were made and sold only through the Fargo, ND Ford dealer. Here is the blog I stumbled up a few years ago by Matt Anderson with much more on these cool Steiger edition Ford pickups...Matt's father actually was involved in selling them back in the '70's:
