This shallow working tool is made to smooth
uneven ground and remove small weeds
quickly and efficiently with operation speeds
up to 9mph. It has ultra shallow concave disk
blades that loosen the top two to three inches
of the soil without leaving a soil density
layer that inhibits root development, all the
while leaving a firm seedbed. It outperforms
any other seedbed preparation tool on the
market to produce higher yields and profits.
The Reel Disk from McFarlane Manufacturing
is a true vertical tillage seedbed preparation
tool that is really four tools in one. The Reel
Disk loosens the top two to three inches of
soil, yet leaves the seedbed firm, ensuring
accurate seed depth at planting, resulting in
more even emergence and better yields. The
ultra-shallow disk blades easily penetrate
the soil and slice residue into manageable
pieces. The disk gang has four angle settings
and can be set aggressive or passive to bury
the desired amount of residue. The seven
spiral reel blades crosscut the residue and
mix it into the soil, aiding decomposition.
The heavy-duty harrow levels the ground and
is flexible and adjustable to allow residue to
flow through. The rolling basket provides the
final touch for the perfect seedbed.
